Donna Zaloom, owner of Longevity Pilates, is passionate about Pilates and loves sharing her passion with her students. She began teaching Pilates since 2000 and has worked with clients of all ages and fitness levels. Donna is certified by Powerhouse Pilates and the Kane School in NYC. Along with her Pilates certifications, Donna is also a certified Personal Trainer (NESTA) and a Certified Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist (Pink Ribbon Program, BCES). A strong believer in continuing education, Donna has studied with many of the most respected names in the Pilates world including Kelly Kane, Moira Stott, Alan Herdman, and Mari Winsor. Cathy DeLitizia holds certifications through Power Pilates and PHI Pilates and has been teaching for over nine years. She most recently received her certification in the Buff Bones® program. She fell in love with Pilates the first time she took a class with Longevity Pilates owner Donna Zaloom and has been teaching at Longevity since 2009. She is an avid runner and exercise enthusiast who knows first hand how much Pilates can enhance performance. As an athlete herself, Cathy excels at sports specific training and injury prevention as well as training for weight loss. Cathy is available for private sessions as well as teaching mat, "core and more" and Tabata classes.
Elly Mandarakas received her BFA from Montclair State University and is Pilates certified through Pilates Academy International. She also holds a full certification from Dance Educators of America. She regards her body not only as artwork but also as an essential vehicle for living a long and healthy life. Elly is very familiar with special populations including; injury prevention, spinal disc injuries, scoliosis, pre/post natal and surgery, weight-loss, stress-management, body image, balance issues and vision impairment. Elly has performed with various dance companies including the NJ Ballet Company and continues her performing career today.
Laura Fielding strongly believes that you should move your body everyday! After years in the finance industry Laura decided to take her love of movement and turn it into a career. She did her Pilates certification training with BASI Pilates on the mat as well as all of the apparatus. Laura is also an AFAA certified group fitness instructor, NETA certified personal trainer and has specialty trainings in spinning, TRX, Bender Barre and Willpower and Grace. She is proud to have led the development of "Girlpower", a fitness program that focuses on girls ages 8-18. Laura is available for private and duet sessions. Patrice Dlugos holds a full certification in intensive and advanced mat and apparatus training from Stott Pilates in Toronto, Canada. In addition, she holds a certification with AFAA as a personal trainer. Prior to her training career, Patrice performed as a dancer and singer on Broadway and then for years as a Radio City Rockette. Patrice believes in teaching an informative Pilates class that helps you learn how to really use your body and get into great shape. “I am constantly amazed at the progress my students continue to achieve at any age with this amazing mind/body workout".
Laura Martin Harrell has been practicing Pilates since 1989. She has studied extensively with many accomplished teachers, such as Bob Leikens, Cary Regan and Phoebe Higgins. She completed a comprehensive training program and apprenticeship with Deborah Lessen, a second generation master teacher and one of the most respected leaders in the field. Laura began teaching Pilates in 1995, and also has extensive experience teaching fitness, both in group classes and private instruction. Laura is a former dancer, having performed and taught dance at various institutions, such as SUNY Purchase and Trinity College.
Jennifer DeLuccia believes in transforming the body, mind and spirit through mindful movement. She has been guiding people through various forms of movement for over 14 years through one-on-one training and group fitness as well as Pilates. She has taught everything from yoga to indoor cycling to the willpower Method® and TRX. In addition to all of these class formats, Jennifer’s comprehensive training from Pilates Academy International has helped her form a very keen eye while understanding the types of movements that makes human bodies more functional, as well as bring them into balance. Clients enjoy her classes and sessions because they know they will be guided towards their own individual level of success and just plain feel good when they are done!
Erica Sparaco is a multi-discipline fitness instructor who began her wellness journey in 2008 when she became certified through Om Yoga in Manhattan. Every modality has given her a new perspective on how to move your body more optimally. She is certified in yoga, TRX, cycling rowing, as well as Pilates through Body Art Science International (BASI). Knowing that not every exercise will work well for you every day, she will tailor each movement to your personal needs. Every session is geared toward putting you back in control of your own health by giving you the tools to change the way you move.
Gigi Gould has been studying movement all her life, starting as a child in dance lessons, and progressing on through dance college, and beyond. She has worked on staff with several prominent international dance companies. She was first introduced to Pilates 20 years ago and was thrilled to find it cured her of the constant backache that she'd had for some time. It has remained an integral part of her fitness program ever since. Gigi is certified in Pilates (Kelly Kane/Kinected of NYC and IMX), the Pink Ribbon Program (Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist), Group Fitness (AFAA), and CPR/AED, and continues to educate herself further through workshops and research. "I'm very particular with getting clients to move with correct form, and often draw in clients who have specific physical issues that need attention. It is wonderful to see their joy as they improve their mobility and strength."
Stevi Evans believes Pilates is a place to become stronger mentally and physically, while creating the best posture to take on the world. She aims to provide a safe and effective workout where you can put yourself first, have fun, and walk away feeling strong and accomplished. All while incorporating functional training, dance and athletic training techniques, tough love, and a balance of strength, mobility, and sweat. She brings 8 years of experience as a Pilates and Fitness Instructor in NYC and Hoboken working with a variety of goals for men, women, brides-to-be, pre-and-post-natal women, and recreational athletes.
